Jesus was a friend to little children. The image of Jesus telling his disciples to let the children come to him is a beautiful one. He took the time away from his busy life to spend time with children in a time when children were not appreciated very much. Jesus shows us the importance of children in the kingdom of God. I want to use Jesus' example each day as I teach my students. I want them to feel part of the kingdom of God.
