Our History
We began our Christ-centered approach to education in 1915. That year a small group of Christian parents, all dedicated to placing Christ and Biblical truths at the center of their children's development, founded Zeeland Christian School in a four-room building on Cherry Street.

The right half was the original 1915 building.
The left half was added in 1922.
God continued to bless Zeeland Christian. By 1947, the need for classroom space warranted a move to a new, larger facility on West Central Avenue.

Today, in our modern and upgraded facility, Zeeland Christian remains focused on the ideal that framed the work of our founders-the ideal of a school steeped in the gospel-one in which everyone can and does tell the greatest story ever told.
