Why is this stone standing here?

Walk in the door of Zeeland Christian School, and you encounter a large standing stone.

The stone is here for the same reason God asked the Israelites to place a stone on the bank of the Jordan River. It is a reminder of God's faithfulness in the past and of His greatness, power, and love for eternity, and it inspires teachers and students alike to share the story of God's salvation every day.

It is also a confirmation that at Zeeland Christian, we strive to be not only standing stones ourselves, but also to transform each of our students into a standing stone, a living witness to God's love and goodness.
