Parent Points

We organize several fundraisers throughout the school year to help offset the cost of tuition. These fundraisers would not be possible without the help of many volunteers! We use a point system to distribute the fundraising workload and refer to it as “parent points”. Families with students in 1st-8th grade are required to work 10 points per family per year at one of these fundraisers or pay a fee of $250. New kindergarten families, single parent families and families with special needs students are required to work 5 points per family per year at one of these fundraisers or pay a fee of $125.

Some examples of the current fundraisers and jobs are:
•      Wrapping paper sale ~ tallying orders
•      Auction ~ kitchen prep
•      Ditto ~ cashiering
•      Baked goods sale ~ rolling dough

The sign up for parent points occurs at the end of each school year for the following school year. Please contact jschafer@zcs.org for more information on how you can get involved.
