What do you love about Zeeland Christian?
I love teaching at ZCS because I get to work with amazing students that teach me more than I could teach them. I love being a part of this community that loves one another unconditionally and celebrates each others' differences.
Why are you passionate about Christian Education?
I'm passionate about Christian Education because I believe it's important for each child to know that they are a child of God and that Jesus loves them so much.
What do you want others to know about you?
I grew up as the youngest of three children. I lived in Holland for most of my life, then moved to Grand Rapids where I went to Calvin College to study Special Education and play some soccer. After college, I moved to Zeeland to teach at ZCS! I now have a wonderful husband of two years and the cutest golden retriever, Pepper. We love to camp, swim, hike, bike, and do any other outdoorsy things.
One life lesson your students have taught you:
Everyone has something great to offer. I have learned that time and time again over the years.
