What do you want others to know about you?
I was born and raised in Ecuador. I never imagined that I’d be teaching here! After attending college to study Business and Administration, I went on a missionary trip to Brazil and that is where I found my real passion, teaching. After being trained extensively in teaching, and taking education classes here in the U.S., I am as excited as ever to teach. I’ve been happily married for twenty-four years. God gave us one miracle child whose name is Fermin (he’s now 19 attending college). As a family, we had beautiful moments in our country, owning our own business, going to church, and dreaming about the future. But, God re-routed our plans. And now, I’ve taught at ZCS for nine years, and this will be my tenth year teaching. As a family hobby, we love traveling to many places as possible.
One life lesson your students have taught you:
They allow me to do more than just teach - they help me see, feel, and give the love of Jesus. They inspire me to believe in God with all my heart without a doubt.
