What do you love about Zeeland Christian?
" I love having the opportunity to talk with kids about how much God loves them and that He has created each of us for a unique purpose. My relationship with God has deepened and grown as a result of being a part of the community that is Zeeland Christian. What a blessing it is to get to watch kids grow and learn from their early years all of the way through middle school! "
Why are you passionate about Christian Education?
"I am passionate about Christian Education because we are able to focus on helping develop all aspects of a child's growth-spiritual, emotional, social, physical, and academic. Our God is a God of relationships, and it is a blessing to be at ZCS, where developing relationships with God and each other is the center of what we do."
What do you want others to know about you?
"My husband, Jared, and I live in Holland and have three kids-Owen (1st-grade School-Home Collaborative at ZCS), Harper (Threeschool at ZCS), and Grayson (5 months old). We attend Engedi Church and love being involved in our neighborhood and community. You'll often find us playing outside, at parks, or going on adventures as a family. I also serve on the Board of City on a Hill in Zeeland. "
One life lesson your students have taught you:
"Whether in preschool worship time or middle school chapel, I have learned so much about worship from our students. They praise God with such whole-hearted joy and adoration that it has changed the way that I worship and I am so thankful for that gift!"
