What do you love about Zeeland Christian?
What I love most about working in ZCS is the freedom to be able to teach in my language (only Spanish) and the blessing to teach different subjects from a Christian point of view.
Why are you passionate about Christian Education?
I am passionate about Christian education because I think sowing the seed of the gospel in such young hearts is the key to having hope in our fallen world for the future.
What do you want others to know about you?
I was born in Ambato, Ecuador and I am the last daughter of 5 brothers and 1 sisters. After finishing my 4th year of college, I got married in Ecuador with my beloved husband Vicente Núñez. After we get married we move to the U.S, so he can finish his degree in Business Administration. I was blessed with 3 beautiful children, and this autumn all of them will be in college. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior at age 14, after that, all I do is to serve Him to extend His kingdom. He is the center of my life and family. He is always by my side and opened unimaginable doors that had blessed me. ZCS is one of them. I am so grateful for his infinite love and mercy.
One life lesson your students have taught you:
I learned that they are willing to be immersed in other languages and culture, and feel proud for every small and big success in their second language.
