What do you love about Zeeland Christian?
I love the fact that I have a supportive team of teachers and an encouraging group of parents who allow me to be creative in challenging my students academically, socially, and spiritually.
Why are you passionate about Christian Education?
Christian Education lets me bring in the themes of Creation, Fall, Redemption, Restoration, and New Creation into all parts of my classroom...the academic pieces, classroom management, the social aspect of my classroom, devotional times, and of course the everyday issues that kids deal with.
What do you want others to know about you?
My wife Laurie and I both work at ZCS, and all four of our children have gone through Zeeland Christian. We count it a privilege to work where we do and to have had our own children be trained by wonderful teachers and staff. When I'm not working on school stuff, you will find me doing one of several things: yard work, reading kids' literature, traveling to visit our kids who live throughout the country, playing Settlers online, jogging (lumbering might be a better word), biking, or doing some geocaching.

Never lose a sense of wonder and curiosity about God's world.
