Meet Sarah Klingenberg
“Faith isn’t a part-time job. We are called to more!”
We are excited to welcome Sarah Klingenberg to ZCS this year! Sarah is a Holland Christian School alum from the Class of 2022 and just graduated from Cornerstone University with her degree in elementary education. We’re excited to have her joining the ZCS community!
Sarah grew up on a family farm where they raise pigs and grow wheat, soybeans, and corn. And she even knows how to drive a tractor! When she’s not on the farm or in the classroom, Sarah loves watercolor painting and pretty much anything creative. Sarah feels especially close to God when she’s creating. She also loves getting outside and exploring different walking and hiking spots around West Michigan.
We also want to extend our biggest CONGRATULATIONS to Sarah. She got engaged to her fiancé, Jackson, this past summer! She is looking forward to all that this next season of life will hold.
Sarah is most excited to get plugged into the ZCS community and eager for 
the opportunity to meet many new friends and families. She’s heard such high praise about the community at ZCS and says she’s already grateful to be a part of it.
In her classroom, Sarah hopes her kids know they are dearly loved by their Creator God and by their teacher. She also wants learning to be fun and is looking forward to creating hands-on experiences that get her students engaged and excited to learn.
We couldn’t let Sarah join the staff without sharing one funny school memory. When Sarah was in sixth grade, she was apparently a little more interested in classroom mischief than classroom instruction. Her favorite trick? Crawling underneath desks and tying her classmates’ shoes together. Her only comment on the story was, “Oops!”
Of our three core values, Relentless Curiosity, Deep Joy, and Faithfully All-In, Sarah says Faithfully All-In connects with her the most. For Sarah, faith isn’t something we turn on for church on Sunday and then turn off for the rest of the week. She wants her whole life to point back to God and hopes to help others fix their eyes on Him too.
